Zeus was lucky enough to be intercepted by the LRRoF before going to a shelter and went straight to a great foster home. Two short meetings later, we were in love with each other! He's so sweet and funny, and his confidence builds every day. In no time at all, he went from being unsure of himself and not knowing how to even play to my funny, happy, confident, retrieving sidekick. I can't say enough great things about LRRoF's process and could never thank them adequately for bringing Zeus to me. So, Zeus and I have joined the ranks of volunteers so that other sweet labs find loving furever homes as well.

I wanted to tell our story and how great adpoting has been. We got Zeus (our chocolate) just over 3 yerars ago from Pat in New Port Richie. He was one year old at the time. He was just a great dog right away. Loves the tennis ball,, in fact lives for it. Super sweet and smart. We grew to love him so much,,, we adopted another. We got Max (the Yellow) about 6 months ago now when he was almost a year old. He's different than Zeus and has more energy than I could ever imagine. He's a bit of a rascal,, and always wants to play. Sweet, smart and loves to have his belly rubbed. I can't imagine life without these two knuckleheads.

I adopted my beloved Zeus from your organization eight years ago. Zeus was 2 years old when he was surrendered to LRRoF. I was introduced to him shortly after he got to his foster home in Orlando. Zeus and I had eight amazing years together. We saw much of the country together. He passed away on Friday at age 10. Thank you for your organization and for finding labs great homes!
