We met the sweetest dog in the word while he was being fostered by our neighbors. The timing could not have been better as we had just gone to the shelter the day before!! We fell in love with the sweet, kind, loyal demeanor of "Ike" and we quickly adopted him into our family in March of 2011. He is now known as "Vader" and is a very important member of the family! He is playful and patient as we throw the ball to him, or while he watches his best friend (our 7 year old son) shoot hoops in the driveway. He snuggles on the floor with his "dad" and runs at least 5 miles 4 times a week with his "mom". We could not imagine a better dog, and we are greateful that he entered our lives and we could give him a forever home! Thank you for rescuing him and letting us be his family!
