I just wanted to let lab rescue know of the passing of kirby. Kirby was at a tampa adoption day and i immediatly bonded ,he has been by my side ever since and as most people know that is a bond that will live forever even though he is not here . Kirby was the most polite and patiant dog i have ever owned,not only did he give me great pleasure he gave many many other people the same patiant love. This was obvious when i had a final farwell ceremony at a local beach bar called woodies,he had been a "regular"there since his puppy days and was the center of attraction to many locals and snow birds who were away from there pets,20 to 30 people turned up to say farwell at sunset,as the sun set and we bid farwell a school of large fish started jumping in front of us,coincidence??probably! but for me and all there he was also saying goodbye. I would like to thank lab rescue for introducing me to Kirby,he got me through some sad times in my life,he touched every one he met,the perfect gentleman,rest in piece my true friend,phil smithies
