We had to have our two year old lab Colby put down due to cancer. We left Michigan and came down to our home in Florida . It reminded us of Colby,hischew toys and his chair. The house was too empty. We called FLRC and talked about adoption. We asked for a two year old male. They called and told us about a six year old male who needed us. He had been abused and left alone. When we saw McQueen ,we knew he was OUR dog.We all needed time to get to know each other. He now sits in our boat and loves to fish . He still steals sandwiches but now we let him. He's not sure about snow.He shares his food with his little brothers ,a chihuahuas, and a six month chocolate lab puppy. We know that we didn't save McQueen as much as he made our family complete.
