God Bless the wonderful people who have made it their mission to save these dogs. I adopted Klondike through Pat White after loosing my Lab of 15 years Rusty. I promised Rusty that I would care for the older labs that were left behind. I lasted 6 weeks without a companion. I saw Klondike on the sight and contacted Pat to set up an appointment. It was love at first site. I needed a Klondike and I could tell instantly that Klondike needed me. It has been a perfect match. He is just a wonderful dog. Although you learn things about your new friend that can be surprizing. It appears that he never learned to play since to this day he does not care for toys of which we have many. I have tried to amend this but he chooses to be himself and I am good with that. There are so many things that an experienced dog brings to a relationship. I encourage anyone who is considering an adoption to PLEASE give the experienced dogs an opportunity to bring happiness to your homes. You will be forever grateful.
