This is my second time adopting through LRROF. I adopted Dixie from Larry Meenie. I was looking for a sweet girl who was good with cats. Dixie did not disappoint. She really loves her kitties and gives them a bath daily. When I saw her profile on LRRoF.....I knew she was the one I needed. Her name is very special to me cause that was my mother's name who I had lost years earlier to cancer. Dixie is very much loved. She is also extremely spoiled. She loves going to a local park and playing on the beach. She also loves riding with the top down and her hot pink glasses on!! Dixie recently showed how much she loved me by saving our lives. We were walking around the backyard and she was at my side and she stopped. Her hair started to rise and I looked down to see a 4 1/2 foot Rattlesnake coiled. We backed up slowly and got my husband to kill it. She could have heard it or sensed it!! I guess somehow my mother was looking out for me!!
