Baxter was adopted in 2007. He had been to 2 different shelters and 2 different home by the time he got to mine. He was a handful at first and over the first couple years, 3 different trainers he eventually became comfortable at being a dog. He loved going to the the beach, laying out in sun, going for walks and being fed "gourmet food." He became best friends with my cat and my young neice. He was the the absolute best dog. Baxter ended up with prostate cancer later this last year and was laid to rest just before his eleventh birthday on January 18 2018. Thank you Labrador Rescue for allowing me to rescue this beautiful boy. He will forever be missed.
