An LRROF Success Story

I had filled out an adoption application and completed a home visit when I happened upon a LRRoF event at a local mall and stopped to talk in October 2012. I met Chica and her wonderful foster parents that day, and she immediately attached herself to me. I wasn't expecting the process to happen so quickly, but we bonded, and I brought her home the next day. She has been the most wonderful, loving, energetic, destructive, and intelligent companion. She is the definition of a Velcro dog, and has travelled all over with me for many years. She loves everyone she meets, playing fetch, trying to sneak onto the furniture, and snuggling. I am so lucky to live in such a dog friendly community, as I regularly get to include her in my trips out around town. Chica immediately attached to my now husband, and she loves spending her days with him now that he works from home.
