We adopted Morgan in Aug of '05 for our then 6 year old son. Lab Rescue vetted us and our wait for the world's most perfect dog was only a few weeks. She was a well trained, owner surrender, one year old who could not have been any smarter. From day one, my husband called her "a person in a dog suit". Morgan was our only dog and truly became our surrogate second child. Sadly, Morgan passed on Jan 28, 2017. As anyone who has lost a Lab knows, the hole in our hearts is huge and seems to be irreparable. Yet we know that the 12 years with our sweet girl were truly a gift. We know that we gave her a wonderful life as a member of our family and in return, she gave us the most unconditional love anyone could every dream of. Thank you LRROF for the work that you do and for introducing us to our sweet baby girl Morgan.
