An LRROF Success Story

We adopted Mimi in 2006 when our daughter was 3 - LRROF had rescued her from a local animal shelter so her age was uncertain - our vet estimated 3-5 yrs old so we decided she was the same age as our daughter! The LRROF volunteer who did our home inspection/interview has recommended an 'older' dog because of we had a small child and Mimi was the perfect match for us. From the moment we brought her home to today, she's been a gentle, happy, loving dog tolerant of kids, cats and our most recent rescue - a very large bunny. As she's gotten older she spends most of her time asleep under my desk while I work, but she's still our happy girl. We're very grateful to LRROF for helping her become part of our family.
