Sadly in March of 2013 we lost our beloved 13 year old black Lab Trooper. He was the best dog. We decided after a few weeks our house was lonely, and Trooper would want us to give a fellow Lab the chance of a forever home like he was blessed to have for 13 years. We put in our application to adopt with Lrrof and shortly after we were approved we got a call from Christina telling about a beautiful 15 month old male chocolate lab who's previous owners surrendered him to Animal Control for no other reason than they simply did not want him anymore. Two seconds after seeing Max we realized he was meant to be with us. It has been a few months and Max has never looked back at his previous life. He sleeps in the room in a comfy bed with his mommy and daddy. He plays all day long with his 5 year old human brother, and LOVES the numerous trips in the car to various places in town or to his Nana and Pappy's house in Panama City Beach. We are so thankful for Lab Rescue and thankful to give Max the home he deserve plus all the love in the world!
