Dear Maggie, Thank you for being the heart of our family for the past 8 years. You were our first baby—our velvet nugget, our sweet slug—and your love paved the way for the love we now see between our girls and you. You’ve been gentle, patient, silly, and full of personality, letting them learn what it means to care, to cuddle, and to truly love an animal. Whether you were snuggled on the couch or curled up in the camper, you made every moment warmer. Camping won’t be the same without our chup by the fire. You’ve given us so many gifts—unconditional love, laughter, and a bond that words can’t fully hold. We will miss you more than we can say, but we’re so grateful you were ours. We love you forever, baby slug.
