In Memory Detail

In Memory of Gunther our first Lab Rescue foster dog; we adopted him in February 2003. We knew when we first met him that he was a very special boy and we wanted him to become part of our family. We also realized that caving in and adopting our first foster dog did not bode well for being robust foster parents – fortunately everything worked out well and we fostered over 24 dogs with Gunther serving as a great role model and mentor for new foster dogs. It has been 3-1/2 years since we lost him to cancer and we still think of him regularly and miss him terribly – he was a very special chocolate lab. We thank LRRoF, Jackie and Kim Knoch for introducing us to Gunther, and the gift of ten years of joy. We are happy to support LRRoF’s important work of saving dogs’ lives and making great families.
