"Christmas Eve 2005 we adopted our first dog Seamus Marley Maximus aka Marley. Within a few months we adopted our second rescue, Morgan, mostly due to the fact Marley was crazy and wouldn’t let us touch him without freaking out (he also hated dancing so he may have been from the town in Footloose). When Morgan joined our little pack, Marley got more than he bargained for. Not only did he get a friend he got a little bully of a sister, a girl he could love and a life long companion. They were yin and yang. Morgan was the most special kind of broken, severely abused in her first year of life she had a lot of challenges. But with a lot of training and more love than I can quantify she turned out to be a bigger than life character who wanted nothing more than to be with her people and snuggle (or to play ball). After 14 years, today we had to say goodbye to both." Each one of them has a piece of our hearts.
