An LRROF Success Story

Hector came to LRRoF as an abuse case that ended up in the court system. Consequently he spent a considerable time in a shelter that had little money. He had been dragged behind his owner's vehicle and had multiple skin injuries and he was heavy heartworm positive. I am a volunteer with LRRof and had recently lost two of my adopted chocolate boys within 6 months of each other when I saw Hector on the web site. I went to visit him a couple of times at his foster's home and she very generously agreed to let me adopt him. Hector is a very laid back dog and loves the couch, however he goes to class once a week where he does some agility and obedience, he earned is CGC (Canine Good Citizen) from AKC.
